Nadja Jones

Capacity Building Center for Tribes Project Director

Nadja Jones (Comanche/Onondaga) serves as the new Capacity Building Center for Tribes Project Director. Her career has centered on meeting tribal needs through ICWA advocacy, social services policy enhancement, and tribal/state system practical improvements. She received her MSW from Arizona State University (1997) and was integral in data evaluation for increased funding for Arizona ICWA foster placements. Her professional values are grounded in respect for tribal sovereignty, interdependence, and building consensus. Nadja’s hometown is now Portland, Oregon. She enjoys being active and engaged with nature, her children, and cultural traditional practices.
