The Tribal Law and Policy Institute (TLPI) is available for training, technical assistance (TTA), and resource requests all year long! TLPI strives to provide customized, culturally responsive, and accessible TTA to meet your unique needs. If a request cannot be covered by one of our Current Projects, TLPI will do its best to work with you to meet the needs of your request as TLPI understands that Tribal access to critical funding sources may be limited despite the need of high-quality subject matter expertise. TLPI strives to keep all TTA at low-to-no cost.

Over 25 years, TLPI has attracted and employed dedicated and experienced trainers from a variety of backgrounds. TLPI is proud to employ staff from various Tribal Nations and with years of experience working with and for Tribal communities. Many staff have decades of direct and/or personal experience in their respective fields that inform the delivery of TLPI’s TTA.

TLPI offers training and technical assistance on an array of different topics, as well as requested topics, suitable for small groups, large classroom settings, and online. Each TTA offering will be customized to your needs. Below are some flyers by topic area that highlight our staff expertise and available resources. I want to commend all of you for your dedication, commitment and persistence in addressing the safety and protection needs of victims of sex trafficking in Indian Country. This is a difficult area to resolve and many people get burned out from this type of work. I'm glad you are here and providing guidance and direction for those of us who are just learning how problematic this issue is within and near Native Nations. I appreciate everything that was shared and the very thorough resources that you have compiled for our use in creating more awareness and healthy advocacy on this topic.Thank you!
